Walk Alone is Josh Gray’s third album, released in 2023 after a successful crowdfunding campaign supported by fans around the world. The album expands Gray’s blend of Americana, folk, country, blues, and rock, combining intimate storytelling with a deeper, more expansive roots-rock sound. The songs explore isolation, resilience, love, loss, and the complicated realities of life in modern America. Recorded with a talented group of Nashville musicians, Walk Alone captures Gray’s continued evolution as a songwriter while preserving the raw honesty and poetic spirit at the heart of his music. The album reached #8 on the Euro Americana charts and #1 on the Dutch Americana & Roots Top13 chart, earning critical acclaim and regular radio airplay from New Zealand to Norway.
Songs of the Highway is Josh Gray’s second album, recorded to tape at Nashville’s renowned Bomb Shelter in East Nashville. Blending Americana, folk, country, blues, and rock, the album captures the freedom, loneliness, and uncertainty of life on the road. Driven by poetic storytelling and roots-rock energy, these songs explore love, loss, travel, and the search for something just beyond the horizon. Songs of the Highway earned international acclaim, including recognition as one of the top albums of the decade by Hi-Tones Record Store and a Top 10 album of 2019 in the Netherlands.
Josh Gray is the self-titled debut EP from Nashville Americana singer-songwriter Josh Gray, recorded in Frederick, Maryland, in 2015. These early recordings lay the foundation for Gray’s blend of folk, blues, country, and rock, pairing intimate roots music with thoughtful, poetic songwriting. Recorded just one block from the coffee shop where a friend first dared him to play live, the EP captures the beginning of a journey that would eventually take Gray from Maryland to Nashville and stages around the world.

“Mortality Blues” is a reminder that none of us gets out of here alive. It’s a look at growing older and coming to terms with death, while offering some simple advice along the way: use your time wisely, make amends, say what you need to say, and try to make peace with the inevitable.
