I tend to get a bit skeptical when something is hyped up. In the case of the solar eclipse I'm happy to have been wrong. Living in Nashville I was lucky enough to experience totality. For a few moments it was like being on another planet. During totality the temperature dropped, cicadas started chirping and the street lights came on. When you looked up with your naked eye you saw a beautiful thin ring of light. Part of the ring appeared to be pink, most likely solar flares. Anyway it was amazing, I feel fortunate to have seen it.
I recently played the first show with my band Josh Gray and The Dark Features. Playing with a band is helping me figure out how I want songs arranged for my next album. I've attached a video from the show and I'll be posting more soon. Select the closed captioning option to see lyrics.
I love playing shows in Nashville but I'm also excited to start playing out of town more. This month I'll be heading down to Chattanooga and also playing in Georgia for the first time. Then in November I'll be in Knoxville playing a full set Live on the radio. Check out the schedule here.
I've also started a street team. What's a street team you ask? It's a way you can help out when I have a show in your area. Whether it's getting the word out by putting up some posters. Or helping out with merch while I'm on stage. If you're interested you can sign up here.
As always thanks so much for reading!
